Your data

How do I back up my data?

Go to Settings › Your Data › Export All Data. You'll get one .zip file with your clients, jobs, expenses, invoices and estimates as spreadsheets, plus your PDFs, photos and a full backup. Save it to Files, iCloud Drive, or email it to yourself. Do this regularly. WorkCinch keeps your data on your phone, so this file is your backup.

How do I move to a new phone?
  1. On your old phone, Export All Data and save the .zip somewhere your new phone can reach, like iCloud Drive or AirDrop.
  2. Install WorkCinch on the new phone.
  3. Go to Settings › Your Data › Restore from Export and pick the file.

Restoring replaces what's on the phone. If you restore by mistake, use Undo Last Restore.

Does WorkCinch sync between devices?

Not yet. WorkCinch runs on one iPhone and keeps everything on that phone. Use Export and Restore to move your data.

How do I delete my data?

Deleting the app removes everything on your phone. If you connected Stripe, email [email protected] to delete your payment records from our server. See the Privacy Policy for details.

WorkCinch Pro

What does Pro add?

Your own logo on invoices, estimates, receipts and deposit requests, and no "Made with WorkCinch" footer. Everything else in the app is free, with no limits.

I bought Pro but it's not showing.

Open the Pro upgrade screen and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you bought it with.

How do I cancel Pro?

Subscriptions are handled by Apple. In WorkCinch, go to Settings › Manage Subscription, or open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.

Can I get a refund?

Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Card payments Coming soon

What does it cost to take card payments?

Stripe takes its standard card fee and WorkCinch takes 0.5% of each online card payment. The app shows you the fees and what you'll receive before you send the invoice. Recording cash, check or bank transfer payments is free.

Where does the money go?

Straight to your own Stripe account, then to your bank on Stripe's payout schedule. WorkCinch never holds your money.

A client wants a refund or opened a dispute.

Handle refunds and disputes in your Stripe dashboard, where you can see the full payment and respond to the client's bank.
